Your files

The files you open in the tool are processed inside your browser and are not sent to any server, this one or any other. We do not see them, we do not keep them and we could not even if we wanted to: the page is served with a security policy (connect-src 'none') that forbids the browser from making connections from it.

No cookies and no tracking

exif.es uses no cookies, no analytics scripts, no advertising and nothing that identifies you from one visit to the next. There is nothing to accept.

So that it works offline, your browser keeps a copy of the site’s files (not yours) in its cache. You can clear it from your browser settings.

Statistics

To know which pages are visited, the server records each page visit, like any website’s access log. It stores the page, the country, the browser language and the domain you came from. It does not store your IP address or your full browser details, or anything that would allow following a person.

Page load speed is also measured, using the timings the browser provides. That carries nothing that identifies you either.

Who runs it

exif.es is a website of Color Vivo Internet, S.L., a company registered in Spain that also develops KillEXIF. For any question about this page or about your data, write to info@colorvivo.com. Messages are only used to reply to you.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which needs your IP address to deliver the page to you, like any host. The tool’s code is open source, published under the Apache 2.0 licence.
